Melalie x Skute

As we have massive needs for mobility, nowadays people turn to electric vehicles, like in Europe people start to use electric scooters and bicycles. It helps open the door of opportunity for startup and tech companies to expand and make new platforms that help urban city living and solve mass problems in society. But yet everything always has two sides of the story and sometimes it’s like a double-edged sword, at the same time the needs from the battery supply and raw materials increase very high. It needs anticipation from the users or platform to handle these problems.

On the other hand, based on our observation, it’s eye-opening for Melalie as a travel application platform. We realized that this will be our future of mobility. We expand our service into electric vehicles nowadays, we prepare as a platform from local into global.

Shared Mobility

Shared mobility has become a new trend from the past few years until recently. Micro-mobility has been a trend for a new market in many European countries introducing not only bike-sharing but also e-scooter sharing.

How shared mobility works is by letting people share a vehicle either as a group or as a personal rental, and in the process share the cost of the journey, thus helps to create a connection between private vehicle use and mass.

Shared mobility has increased the importance of reducing congestion to help with a global climate emergency by finding ways of getting more intensive use of vehicles on the road.

How Melalie fits in the picture of the Future of Mobility

Melalie starts by offering a decentralized and community-driven alternative to help local people and small entrepreneurs generate income with their vehicles by providing travelers with easy modes of transportation. By doing so, Melalie makes better use of existing vehicles and has a positive impact on the environment as well as local economies. By using Melalie, the average vehicle downtime can be reduced and give small entrepreneurs the power of sharing economy.
